Celebrating Harvest Festival Through Kindness and Giving!

Our wonderful children have been celebrating Harvest Festival by collecting and donating food to support our local food bank in Kettering. 💛

We are incredibly proud of their generosity, compassion and enthusiasm in helping others in our community. 🥫🛍️ Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference to families who need a little extra support.

Harvest is a time to be thankful for what we have, to share with others and to remember the importance of kindness. Our children have truly embodied the spirit of giving, showing that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact. 🌟

✨ Celebrating National Poetry Day! ✨

To celebrate National Poetry Day last Thursday, 1st October, our children explored this year’s theme, ‘Wonder’. During her assembly, Miss Pallett invited the children to share any poems they had written.

She has been absolutely delighted and amazed by the wonderful response and the creativity shown in so many fantastic poems! 📖✨

A huge thank you to all the children who took the time to write and share their poetry. It has been a joy to see their imaginations at work and to celebrate their wonderful words. 💭📝

📚🏆 Two Years in a Row! 🏆📚

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have won the Kettering Library Reading Challenge for the second year running! 🎉

We couldn’t be prouder of our pupils and their love of reading!

At our school, we believe that reading is at the forefront of learning. We encourage our children to read as much and as often as possible, both in school and at home, and we are thrilled to see the impact this has on their learning.

Our SATs results this academic year are a fantastic reflection of this, with an incredible 93% of our pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, compared with a national average of 75%. 🌟

A huge well done to all our pupils, families and staff for helping to foster such a wonderful culture of reading. Keep reading, keep learning, keep achieving! 📚✨
