🤩After OUTSTANDING events in recent years, ‘HAVE A GO’ Arts Festival RETURNS to Kettering Arts Centre to offer the public workshops and mini-masterclasses to produce art in many forms.

📍KAC St Andrew's Church, Kettering will once again showcase local groups to share their passion for their art form with others – it will be a ‘have a go’ day.

😎Different groups will be housed in the main church.

As the flowers bloom and the days get longer, it’s the perfect time to explore your creativity and make a unique zine that celebrates the season. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a first-time zine maker, this workshop offers a fun and welcoming space for everyone. We’ll guide you through the process of creating your very own zine, from brainstorming ideas inspired by nature, renewal, and growth, to designing and assembling your pages. Bring your favorite springtime quotes, images, and colours to create a zine that’s as vibrant as the season itself! Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials to personalize your zine further. Let’s craft together and capture the essence of spring on paper!

ziNNes club is back!! It’s been a long time but we’re finally back again. This time every other Wednesday at our original location of St. Andrew’s Church.

📘Come along and learn a range of zine making techniques, read through our library, make simple stickers and more!! This club is suitable for all ages and skill sets as will be on hand to show you all you need to know.

Tickets are £3 each and goes towards the cost of room hire, materials and refreshments for each event. Limited to 16 tickets due to room size.

ziNNes club, part of my final year degree show, is now open to see at the Development Hub, University of Northampton! The show is open 10am-4pm daily with the final day to visit being Thursday 27th June 2024. Come along and see all the hard work of the @zi.nn.es attendees! ziNNes club (2024) consists of books and zines made as part of a community arts project promoting self-care and creativity in Kettering and Northampton. The slideshow is made up of images of several workshops in progress, and of pages of zines created by participants for the collaborative project. The themes of these individual zines was left to the creators but there was an encouragement to consider the things that brought them joy whilst zine making

Can’t believe it’s already time for my degree show! These past 3 years have felt like forever and nothing at the same time.

Come along to the Development Hub, Cliftonville Road, Northampton from Friday 21st June to Thursday 27th June 10-4pm (excluding Sunday) to see the works of ziNNes club, my independent practice and all the hard work of my fellow 3rd years in Fine Art and Painting & Drawing at UoN. It’ll be a great show 😊

ziNNes club will be back tonight at Kino Lounge, 6:30-8:30pm!! 💕

As always materials are available to use and all ages and skill sets are welcome to come along, Lauren will be able to show you how to get started if you’ve never made zines before 😊

Back to The Shire Horse tonight for ziNNes club, 6:30-8:30pm. We’ll have plenty of materials for anyone that wants to come along but as always feel free to bring your own things. Don’t forget that anything made at these sessions can be part of the UoN Fine Art Degree Show in June 👍🏻
