Hello to all of you lovely people, customers past, present and future. The staff here hope that you’re all doing well despite the horrible challenges we’ve all had to endure over the past 12 months. It’s not been easy for any of us, and I’m sure many will have had horrible personal circumstances, and you have our heart felt sympathies.

It would seem that we may finally be about to be able to spread our wings once more, and many of us are looking forward to a bit more, as safe as we’d like, social interaction.

We’ve sacrificed a lot, but it could be time to get out and enjoy the outdoors, meeting our friends and family, and creating some new, wonderful memories.

It has been lovely chatting with our ‘old’ clients (that are our ‘old friends’ now) and being able to pencil them in with Keswick Adventure Centre, once again.

As such, it’s an absolute pleasure to get our diary filling up once more.

Unlike many, our prices HAVE NOT CHANGED - great news eh??! Our staff are still wonderful and friendly. Our ethos is STILL to give you memories that last a lifetime.

Sadly, for those that met her, Floss the gorgeous Border Collie is no longer with us and passed away just a few days after her 15th birthday.

If you’re planning a Staycation (not my favourite word!), why not give us a call (we’re not restarting the online booking yet as we’d like to tell you our plans for your safety over the phone/email) and get your Adventure planned - it’s GREAT to have somethingto look forward to.

We are not taking deposits at the moment, preferring instead to book you in with you knowing that your booking is safe, and so is your money (although we didn’t hesitate for one second to refund all bookings for the last year).

As you can imagine, there are LOTS of people on the starting blocks to reserve the limited places available. Don’t delay, ensure your Adventure starts soon.

Hello lovely people, we hope that you have all made it through the last few months with your sanity (and health!) in tact - it has been very strange for many of us.

As you will be aware, there are different beliefs surrounding the current situation but we have decided to forge our own route through the next few months.

We had considered not re-opening at all but, as the phone has not stopped ringing, and in light of the ever changing 'directions' from on high, we have decided that we can only operate a couple of activities in a way that will keep as many of us as 'safe' as possible.

Despite other providers operating as if nothing has changed, we are only offering EXCLUSIVE & PRIVATE sessions. We, like many of you, have 'vulnerable' members in our family and we want to do the best that we can to keep them out of harms way.

Sadly, this means that we need a minimum of x4 people to enable us to pay our overheads and let your session run, but you WILL NOT be mixed with any other people during your time with us. We cannot see how it is possible to safely run our activities without any contact (after all, that is how we keep you safe on a normal session!), and only you know whether you have stuck to the minimising procedures.

The only two activities that we believe that we can run safely are Ghyll Scrambling and Paddleboarding.

We do hope that we can ALL be back to normal very soon, but until then, we will be only operating as above.

We wish you all well and hope to see some of you this summer.

Another day comes to an end here in a Keswick. X144 year 7’s Abseiling, Ghyll Scrambling, Canoeing, Raft Building and a Mountain Walk in the daytime followed by x50 students & teachers in Stoneycroft Ghyll this evening. When you ask for a ‘Group Discount’ when you bring x5 people, remember x144 is a Group hehehe. We do give group discounts for less than x144 though, just ask 😉
