Lower school water fight 🔫💦

Amongst the end of school events this week in Nursery we had ‘Pet Week’. Thank you to all our children who shared their family pets. Some were brought into school and others we met on Tapestry photos. We had visits from Penny the chicken, Nesquick the tortoise, Billy the spider , Rusty the dog and Fluffy the hamster. We almost lost some toes to the tortoise and the staff ran away from Billy! 🕷️

Annual staff versus Year 6 rounders was an epic game of catches and full rounders. Congratulations to the Year 6’s for getting the win.

Today we had a special assembly with two very special guests.
Mrs Danby leaves us today after 25 years teaching generations of children at St Herbert’s and Mrs Graves leaves us after 17 years of being the friendly face and voice on hand at the front desk. We celebrated and thanked them for their long service by making them both queen for the day. They were treated to cucumber sandwiches, ch*****ne 😉, portraits, pin the tail on the Corgi and a special music quiz.
We also say a huge thanks to Miss MacDougall, Mrs Veitch, Miss Sidwell and Miss Davis and wish them all the very best in their new adventures.
