✨🧡 New term, new beginnings 🧡✨

📚 I’m so excited to meet my new Year 4s and 5s today, some for the first time and some are returning after a year with me already!

📚 It’s always amazing to see how much the children grow in confidence and develop new skills in a short period.

📚 So even if your little one is feeling nervous today, please don’t worry! They will leave with a smile, I promise!

✨💖 Student advice 💖✨

🩶 In our final session this year, I asked my now-Year 6s to write down some advice for the new intake of children starting this week.

🩶 We discussed which things helped them through the year and it was really interesting to see their responses!

🩶 Some of my favourites:
✨ ‘Don’t give up and ask if you need help.’
✨ ‘Don’t just forget about your wrong answers. Work out where you went wrong.’
✨ ‘Think outside of the box. If you can’t think, take a break and stay calm.’
✨ ‘Have fun learning.’
✨ ‘Read lots.’
✨ ‘Don’t argue over homework. Just do it!’ 😂

🩶 I’ll be sharing these with my new students on Saturday - hopefully these wise words help! 🧡

🤍🌟 Goodbye & good luck! 🌟🤍

🩷 What an incredible year we’ve had and how fast it’s come to an end!

🧡 I am so SO proud of all my students this year. They’ve worked very hard and should be proud of everything they’ve achieved. I sure am!

💚 It’s that time of year again where it’s time for them to leave and spread their wings! I’ll be sad to see them go!

🩵 Here are photos from our final session, where we tied up loose ends and played some games together. These ones in particular always go down well!

💜 Good luck to all the Year 6s sitting the Kent Test this week! ✨
