⚡️ Monday Morning Call-Out – VLS3.50 Desktop System ⚡️
Started the week out at a school following an electrical power surge, which unfortunately caused significant damage to their VLS3.50 desktop laser system.
Surges like this can do a lot more harm than people realise — affecting everything from the control boards, power supplies and CPU, right through to the laser cartridge itself. After carrying out a full inspection and testing, the system has sadly been deemed beyond economical repair due to the extent of the damage.
It’s a good reminder of just how important proper surge protection is when running this kind of equipment — it can save a lot of cost and downtime in the long run.

We were out on site first thing to sort an issue with a customer’s laser, and we’re happy to say the problem is now fully resolved. The machine is back up and running and our customer is all set ahead of a busy weekend.
