🌿 **Turner Schools Green Action Community Day 2026** 🌿

Our pupils and staff went above and beyond on Thursday for this year's 💚Turner Schools Green Action Community Day💚, making a real difference across our local communities.

With a focus on sustainability and environmental action, pupils from across the Trust took part in a fantastic range of activities. From litter picking and creating inspiring art installations to delivering bird feeders and water-saving packs to local residents, as well as sharing food and plants, they demonstrated kindness, creativity and a real commitment to caring for our environment.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff ⭐for their dedication and enthusiasm in creating unique and inspiring opportunities for our young people, all centred around taking positive green action.

We also hope everyone who visited 🎵The Goods Yard 🎭at Folkestone Harbour Arm enjoyed the wonderful performances, poetry and films showcasing our pupils' creativity and passion for protecting our planet. Thank you to the team who supported the event!

Finally, a very special thank you to 💜Folkestone & Hythe District Council💜 for their Green Grant, which made this fantastic day possible.

💙 Goodbye, Year 6 💙

To our tiny but mighty Team Amethyst class…

As you leave Martello and begin your next adventure, we want you to know just how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of you.

Whether you started with us or joined us along the way, you have shown resilience, kindness, determination and friendship throughout your time at Martello, creating memories that will stay with you for years to come. From classroom fun and school trips, to Sports Day, performances and countless moments of laughter, you have made your mark on Martello in so many wonderful ways.

We wish you all the very best as you move on to secondary school. Be brave, work hard, believe in yourselves and never stop being the amazing young people you are.

🎨🌳 Turner Schools Art Exhibition 🌳🎨

We are incredibly proud that every pupil at Martello had their work featured in this year’s Turner Schools Art Exhibition, Roots, alongside artwork from the other schools across the trust.

The exhibition showcased the children’s creativity, imagination and artistic talents, and it was wonderful to see their fantastic work on display.

A special thank you to our talented performers, who did an amazing job entertaining the audience and helping to make the event such a memorable celebration. Well done to everyone involved! ✨🎭
