We collaboratively, have significant experience in supporting students with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.Having worked in education for 45 years, Acorn has emerged from this vast and varied experience to provide for childrens individual needs. Students attend the Academy for a variety of reasons, some simply due to their under-achievement, some to raise their self esteem and build
their confidence. Others require a very special programme to deal with their unique needs, be they high flyers or children with specific needs. We recognise that all students are different, and through a discussion with parents we aim to identify a students specific requirements, and tailor a programme of study to support and develop you child's potential. Many children need their self-esteem raising to achieve academic success. We are very proud to place great emphasis on raising self confidence and self esteem by teaching the students the appropriate behaviour for learning.
