Growing up doesn't mean growing waste.

Our nursery swap shop is simple way to care for our planet whilst supporting our community. When your child has grown out of their current outdoor gear, please clean it, check everything is in wearable condition and add it to one of the two swap shops; you'll find these outside the house or next to the Pre School cabin. Whilst you're there, have a look and see if there are any items in a bigger size that your child could take and use instead.

By reusing and sharing pre-loved outdoor clothing, we’re:
🌱 Reducing waste
🌱 Extending the life of children’s clothing
🌱 Teaching our children about sustainability and caring for the world around them.

What an egg-citing few weeks it’s been at The Burrow! 🥚🦆

Our ducklings arrived as eggs, and the children had the amazing opportunity to watch them hatch, grow, and change day by day. Over the past few weeks, the children have helped to care for them, learning how to be gentle, responsible, and kind to living creatures.

Now that the ducklings are bigger and stronger, they’re enjoying exploring our Forest School environment, where the children are observing them in a more natural setting.

This experience has supported our learning around life cycles, how living things grow and change, and the importance of caring for animals all through hands-on, real-life learning.
