Our clients tell us that it's scary to add humour - because if nobody laughs, everyone will know you failed. The good news, having a recovery plan will reduce that fear massively.

And if they know you failed - at least they were listening so you are doing something right already !!

There is nothing worst (for a comedian or a speaker) than an audience that stifle their laughter as they feel self-conscious laughing out loud. Giving permission not only means you can really test which bits are funny but also signals to the audience that this is going to be fun!

That experience when you are truly present on stage feels magical ... and it feels great for the audience to. There are lots of ideas that can help you move towards this .. one tip is learning your speech helps so you know what you want to say - that way you are not having to 'think' which frees you up to be present in the moment.
