Our new Level 4 Professional Diploma in Music Production for the Creative Industries is now online for applications!

Starting in September 2026 this exciting one year course will help you to explore advanced music production techniques relating to real life industry opportunities, whilst developing your own portfolio and academic skills.
This is a research and practice led course, offering you the opportunity to develop skills in sound design, mixing, mastering, studio and field recording, collaboration and project planning, before specialising to produce a final major project.

Very well done to Alex Powney - our latest Yr 2 Musician of the Week. He has knuckled down and produced some encouraging work across all aspects of his course. He’s even gone and passed his GCSE English - well done Alex !

….aaand our first Year 2 Student of the Week for 2026 is Ruben Kruger!
Always in the studio recording, listening or practicing, Ruben has continued to develop his drumming and musicianship, adding dynamics and sensitivity to his technical ability!
He is always on the look out for new and exciting music often shares new releases that are inspiring him!
Well done Ruben!

Our final Musician of the Week for 2025 was Josh Boyles!
A fantastic effort from him to hand in all of his assignments by the deadline, as well as showing great attitude and camaraderie in rehearsals!
Josh has continued to develop his recording and mixing skills, as well as challenging himself in practical sessions.
Great work Josh!

Very well done to Riley Campbell our latest Yr 2 Musician of the Week. He has made excellent progress as a vocalist and as a pianist - his recent Billy Joel inspired band highlighted this. He has also made fantastic headway in his theory and technology knowledge - very well deserved Riley!

What a fantastic day at Salford City College! Thank you so much to Frank and his staff and students for making us feel really welcome. Our students performed brilliantly with support on stage from Salford College music students - everyone worked together and there was a great collaborative atmosphere. Salford City College will be coming to Kendal College on February 10th so we look forward to welcoming them ! Well done to everyone involved in today 😊⭐️
