Good Afternoon everybody! It is with great sadness that I announce BLS Kendal has now closed. 😭

I would like to say A BIG THANK YOU to all families who registered their children at my school. It was an honour and privilege you bestowed trust in me to teach your children and I hope I gave you the service you all deserved.👍🏼

"As mountains don't meet but men do", I hope we shall meet again as your children continue to pursue their educational journey. I wish my Kindergarten, KS1/2, Secondary students and EAL students the best of luck in their quest for more knowledge. I equally wish all my SATs and GCSE students the best of luck and great results in subsequent months. Congrats in advance!👏

Thanks too to the administrator of 'Let's Support Local Businesses Kendal' for providing an efficient advertising service. Suffice to thank all my Facebook followers who liked and shared my weekly BLS posts. I shall be forever grateful. I had a great time at BLS and missing it already!👋

Ahead of Sats exams, we have started with paper 1, Level 6, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling curricullum revision tests.👍🏼This week, we will be continuing with paper 2 to ensure our students are well prepared for their exams. Moreover, book 2 of the French MFL secondary curriculum is almost completed with emphasis to completion 2nd week of May. As the Easter holidays commence this weekend, both parents and students should note that we will have class on Monday the 31st, Tuesday the 1st and Wednesday the 2nd as I am away from Thursday the 3rd to Wednesday the 16th of April. Last week saw a busy week of teaching and learning at BLS with our online foreign students learning reading techniques and essay writing skills in English. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Overseas Students with little or no English who have internet access are welcome to join our classes at low prices.🌏 Our regular classes at Pixel Mill Business Centre are equally ongoing. Week 7 saw only one day of teaching and learning as some of our students were away on a foreign school trip, school exam revision engagements and a ski trip as well as an absence due to illness. Week 8 sees most schools in Kendal on half term. Please note that BLS is open as usual and encourages its students to turn up for lessons as normal this week where possible.📝 Parents are also encouraged to organize catch up lessons for any missed lessons. Running into our 6th week of learning, BLS has begun getting its students into the last quarter of the academic year in 2025!
