✨ Update on NHS dentist places for children and young people ✨

Thanks so much to everyone who commented on our recent post around NHS dental places for children. We are pleased to let you know that our colleagues at Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board have created a 'children's access and oral health improvement pathway' to ensure that children across Westmorland and Furness have access to an NHS dentist place:

❓Who can access a place:

🦷 Children who are not currently registered with an NHS dentist
🦷 Children and young people up the 16 years and 364 days (or whilst at school)
🦷 Children need to live in Westmorland and Furness

❓How do I access a place:

🦷 Either email, telephone or 'walk in' to the practice and ask for an NHS place for your child.
🦷 A Professional (such as Health Visitor, GP or Family Hub Practitioner) can complete a referral form for you.

😀 Places are for routine treatment only and not emergencies
😀 If you choose to complete a referral form, the dentist may telephone you from a private or withheld number

We are seeking to recruit an individual who holds a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner too provide high-quality childcare in a setting where children thrive in their learning and development.

⏰ Positions: full or part time contracts available (21-40 hours per week).

💼 Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare or an equivalent qualification.

All vacancies are subject to an enhanced DBS check and a paediatric first aid certificate (this certificate can be obtained after employment begins).
