This talented girl has been offered a place on the Royal Ballet mid associates programme 🩰

A dream come true for her, one she’s worked so hard on too. Soaks up everything, goes away & works on critique & gives 100% in every class. The most loyal, hardworking, humble student & we are so so pleased for her 🖤💛

WELCOME TO THE KDA TEAM, EVE! ✨

We are SO excited to officially welcome the incredibly talented Eve Curry to the KDA team! 🖤💛

Eve will be delivering 1:1 and small group singing lessons every Tuesday between 6–8pm, as well as supporting our current Musical Theatre classes with their vocal training. 🎤🎭

Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your vocal technique, prepare for auditions, or simply develop your singing skills, these lessons are the perfect addition to your training! ✨

📅 Lessons begin Tuesday 15th September
⏰ 6–8pm every Tuesday
🎤 1:1 & small group sessions available

We honestly couldn’t be happier to have Eve joining us — she is the perfect addition to our KDA family, and we can’t wait to see our dancers benefit from her knowledge, experience and passion. 🖤💛

🖤💛 THIS IS WHAT KDA IS ALL ABOUT… 💛🖤

We couldn’t be prouder to share this testimonial from our wonderful Poppy! 🥹✨

Poppy joined KDA around 2 years ago, signing up for just ONE class. At the time, she had very little confidence and self-belief, and probably had no idea just how much was about to change…

Fast forward to now and WOW… just look at her! 🥹

✨ She takes every class available
✨ She’s a proud member of our Competition Team
✨ She’s one of our amazing Teaching Assistants
✨ She signs up for extra training whenever she can
✨ She takes part in every performance available to her
✨ And honestly… we can’t remember a time when Poppy WASN’T at KDA! 😂🖤💛

But the biggest change isn’t the number of classes she takes or the achievements she’s collected along the way.

It’s the confidence, self-belief, friendships, independence and love for performing that have grown with her. 🥹

Watching a dancer walk through our doors unsure of themselves and then blossom into the confident, enthusiastic and incredible young person they are today is one of the greatest privileges of what we do.

Over the next 2 DAYS, our studio is about to be buzzing as we welcome 7 INCREDIBLE industry professionals to Kendal! 🔥

And the best part? Over 30 dancers will have the opportunity to train with them across the two days! 🖤💛

We always hear about the amazing opportunities available in the big cities… so we thought, WHY SHOULD KENDAL MISS OUT?! 🙌🏼

I’m SO proud and grateful to be able to bring some of the best in the industry right here to our doorstep, giving our local dancers access to unreal training, inspiration and experiences without having to travel miles! ✨

This is exactly what it is about — creating opportunities, raising aspirations and giving our dancers the chance to learn from the very best. 💫

A few jobs ticked off in the studio this afternoon, getting everything looking fresh and ready for the exciting week ahead! 🤩🖤💛

And we’re not stopping there… before September arrives, the studio is getting a BIG deep clean and sort out 🧼✨ There’s nothing quite like starting a new term with everything fresh, clean and ready for another amazing year of dancing!

💫 AND… WE’RE STILL TAKING NEW DANCERS! 💫

It’s a hat trick… another piece of GOOD NEWS! 🖤💛✨

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Natalie has been offered a place on Alice Lupton’s performance team, The Sasparillas, for CYD Dance Convention! 🥹✨

Natalie only joined us in 2024 after taking a 5-year break from dance, and the transformation in her has been incredible to watch.

Her confidence has grown so much, and seeing the dancer and performer she is becoming makes me incredibly proud. 🖤💛

What makes this achievement even more special is that Natalie choreographed her own audition video and submitted it independently. That alone shows just how far her confidence has come. 🥹

Natalie, we are SO proud of you! What an amazing opportunity and one you absolutely deserve. We cannot wait to watch you shine… and I cannot wait to be sat in the audience cheering you on! 🖤💛✨

The good news just keeps coming… 🖤💛✨

Sienna has had the most amazing week at Morecambe Summer School — dancing, singing, learning, making new friends and, of course, flying the KDA flag high! 🖤💛

She finished the week with the most incredible achievement — being awarded a scholarship for next year’s Summer School in recognition of the hard work, talent and commitment she has shown throughout the week. 🌟

We are SO proud of you, Sienna, and incredibly grateful for the way you have represented Kendal Dance Academy. You have been an absolute credit to the school! 🖤💛
