Dear Parents and Carers

Following the announcement from Buckingham Palace of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a period of National Mourning has started and will continue until the end of the State Funeral. This is a period of time for reflection in response to the death of the Sovereign.

The official date of the State Funeral is Monday 19th September 2022. This day will be a bank holiday and as such, South Lakes Academy will be closed.

We have a vacancy for a part-time (0.4) SEN teacher.
The vacancy is a 1-year fixed term contract (until the end of this academic year). An extended contract and more hours may be available in the future.
Experience working with students with ADHD/ASD/PDA and an interest in outdoor activities would be preferable. Applicants must have a valid driving licence.
Applications from qualified graduates will also be considered.

Hi there, In light of the current situation with Covid, and in line with the other Local Authority schools, we have had to make a slight adjustment to our term dates. Please note we will close for the Easter holidays at the end of the school day on Wednesday 24th March. We return to teaching on Monday 12th April.
