For children aged 5- 7years, aims to build confidence and self esteem as well as developing their basic multi-skills to give them a good skills platform f

or sport in later life. Junior Judo
For children aged 8 - 12 years, Junior Judo aims to develop their basic judo knowledge in a fun and fulfilling way as well as providing opportunities to compete in a safe environment. Senior Judo
For Judoka aged 13+, Senior Judo provides an assured training environment, providing opportunities to practice personal technique as well as learning new skills. There is also plenty of randori opportunities both in Newaza and Tachiwaza. Kendal Elite Sports Academy Mon, Wed 07:00 - 08:00

Coaching at the highest level

The Academy aims to develop the conditioning of young athletes from any sporting background so they can challenge at the highest level in their sport.

We would love to invite all coaches to join us for two special sessions with Yoko Tanabe at the Kendal Judo Summer Camp 2026.

Both sessions are FREE OF CHARGE for coaches.

A great opportunity to observe, learn and share ideas as part of the summer camp programme.
