Amazing weekend on the Lake District Sky Trails Hellvelin weekend doing Mountain Safety for their Rab Helvellyn Sky Ultra Rab Pinnacle Ridge Extreme St Sundays Race, Place Fell Race and Swirl Grind.

It was a amazing weekend and the sun wasn't too strong which meant we had some great weather for the runners 🏃

Races Sponsored by Rab UK SCARPA UK VOOM® Nutrition

Sadly we lost Little Dave who was a key person in creation of the events. He never be forgotten, naw will his beaming smile the last time I saw him! 🙂

Working for Gladiator Events on behalf of Alzheimer's Society on their Trek 26 Cotswold. Sadly because of the heat (being peak summer with temps around 30c-35c) the 26mi route was pulled but we marked the 13mi and delivered this.

I think about 99% pax thought this was the right choice to make as they agreed it was "well hot" as it was described to me which is such a British saying 🤣. Regardless they pushed though and all had a fantastic time, as always they finished with a medal and glass of Prosecco🍷 in the sun!

Working for Gladiator Events on behalf of Alzheimer's Society on the Lakes Trek 26. It was a great day even if the sun didn't come out that much. That said it did mean that the paxs could get a good pace on all day without worrying about overheating for a change 🙂

It was nice to work on my home patch for a change. I even got to walk in places I've not been to before.

Working for Gladiator Events on behalf of Alzheimer's Society in the Peak's last month. It was a warm two days that's for sure with temps within the 30s. That said the pax didn't let that stop them, o no. They just walked harder and faster 😎! It was a great day with amazing views, sunrise and sunsets around Bakewell area.

Last week saw me working for Gladiator Events on behalf of Walk for Parkinson’s UK in sunny Glasgow. I know, I said sunny in Scotland 😮 This photo was taken by one of the volunteers and I saw it in the vollenteers chat so thank you to the volunteers or Parkinson's staff at that station who got this!

Even though it was sunny and hot the pax had a great time there was over 230 people on the route around Drumpellier Country Park on the short 1 mile and a longer 5.4 mile course! I didn't spend much time at hub but when I was there was a great atmosphere of many different folk enjoying the day playing games, networking/chatting, having picnics and raising money and awareness. There are Walk for Parkinson's events all around the UK 😎

The cartoon idea came from Sudarshan Kelkar on his story so thanks friend!

And just like that another Trek 26 completed for Gladiator Events on behalf of Alzheimer's Society The Brecon Beacons is probably the hardest course that Alzheimer's runs, although it's probably not the highest it's likely to be the most technical route in places and the amount of up's and down's earns it self high on that list.

Dispite all of this and the super hot weather into the 25c folk kept walking along, one step up or down till they finally reached the main hub again for a victory finish with a glass of fizz 😁

Busy couple of days working for Gladiator Events on behalf of over in Snowdonia. It's not very often now I get to work in Wales since graduating uni so was nice to be back for a change.

This was a hard event for the participants lots of accents, decents, cold then full sun! Creating a classic UK mountain day!

The Last 3 and half years have been pretty busy 6 months in the UK 6 months Australia. My time for the moment has come to a end. I've got one day left in Perth. I plan to return but when is the question. NT and Queensland need to be explored.

To caving on the Australian Bight, to the cold Tassie caves and extreme heat of Exmouth, I've given this country a good explorer and seen some thing which I'll never forget! So many people have played a part to support me get underground, overground.

Not limited to: Deb Hunter, John Toni Moore , .kai97 .heatherez Andrew Stemple (Current ASF President), , WASG, CLink, SA Caving team, National University Caving Club,

It's been a totally "Far Out" experience as would say 🤘

I will be back!

All Permits and Traditional Owner's where present when required 😀
