Kickstar Open, thanks for a great day🤩

Results⬇️

First up was Ethan -37kg cadet
Probably the best match of the day worthy of any final. Closely losing the first round and convincingly taking the second all down to the third which was lost in the last 10 seconds.

Second match of the day was Sharon +73 senior (no veteran category today) after a very valiant effort lost out to a much younger opponent. Bronze

Lexi -29kg child. Fighting up 2 categorys, winning the first round with style, unfortunately losing the second by 1 point and almost taking the third but losing out in the last 2 seconds. Silver

Next up was Lexi in a 26kg C Class exhibition match. She convincingly won both her rounds and took gold.

Then Lexi again 26kg A class exhibition. Winning 2 of the 3 rounds to take home a second gold.

Last up was Gabby 37kg cadet. Fight up 1 category. Despite Fighting a very aggressive unconventional fighter she managed to win both rounds stopping the second by point gap.

A well earned bronze medal for Gabby today at the Portugal Open G1, loosing the semi final to the eventual winner from USA.
A close fought match loosing 1-2, not the result she went for and no excuses but back home for rest and recuperation. We are all super proud of you🤩

A great day at the Apex 1-2-1 in Manchester today. Some good match ups for the team and again all the squad showing true competitive spirit, always learning and trying to put into practice what they learn each time.
