Today marks the longest day of the year and the official start of summer, giving us even more opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.

At Orkids Nursery, we will be celebrating throughout the week with a variety of exciting outdoor activities, nature based learning experiences and summer themed adventures. From exploring the world around us to enjoying active play in the fresh air, there will be plenty of opportunities for children to learn and have fun.

We will also be helping children understand the importance of staying safe in the sunshine by learning about sun safety, including wearing hats, seeking shade and staying hydrated. ☀️🧢💧

Summer is a wonderful time for discovery, exploration and creating happy memories together.

We are currently looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual to join our nursery team in a 1-2-1 support role for 15 hours per week.

This rewarding position involves supporting a child within the nursery environment, helping them feel confident, included and encouraged throughout their day.
