Ednam Primary School

Ednam Primary School Ednam School was built in 1911 to serve the villages of Ednam and Stichill. It is open to children and families from nursery age to Primary 7.

It is situated 2 miles from Kelso on the Duns Road and is a beautiful example of Edwardian architecture. In this small thriving school there are four classrooms, a nursery classroom, a hall which is used for music, drama, assemblies and television, a staffroom/office, HT’s office and kitchen. A temporary unit adjacent to the main school building provides two further classrooms. There is a large pl

ayground with markings for games, outdoor shelters and stores, and a large field called the Dubby which has a selection of play equipment. The school also has the use of the Village Hall for P.E.
