Farm to Fork learning here at NewCroft

Weve looked after these pigs since piglets, the children have been involved daily too

Weve watched one have her own piglets to create the life cycle again

Now they will fill the freezer and feed us for our lunches 😋🐖....

Days like today is the whole reason i still love my job 💕

Providing these hands on experiences for children to learn through play

Joining in with that play makes it even more memorable 💕....listening to the giggles and watching the enjoyment in little faces ☺️

Well what a day in the woods....

New waterproofs are well and truly christened 😂😂👍😁 that's what they are for....

Determination was certainly used today, climbing up and sliding down, sometimes accidently and sometimes on purpose, but a quick dust off and up again they went ....

We had a few storys too, the leaf thief was a favourite today 👍😁

Lunch in the woods too

Tomorrow's roasted veg (all from the garden) soup roasted and nearly ready for blending kitchen smells good 👍 😋

Well weve started Autumn fun today and what a great day we had with our friends 🧡

Using some different sized Apples 🍎 to paint, using our hands working together to lift and lower the tray for the painted apples to move, make patterns and mix colours too 😀

Lunch using the fire 🔥 always a huge hit and again Apples with cinnamon and some brown sugar for sweetness 😋 😍

Pulling carrots 🥕, cutting the greenery off them and washing them for the pot

Its beginning to get very Autumnal in the Cabin 🍄🎃🥰👍🧡
