Asked what fabric is my 12 step quilt pattern .
The fabric is from Doughty Brothers
And the pattern is my own which is available for any student signing up for the 12 step beginners quilt .
The 12 step quilt incorporates 12 different blocks made of 12 variations of styles of patchwork .
EPP ,Celtic ,Piecing Raw edge appliqué ,Needle Turn , American Paper Piecing,Stitchery,Thatched,Trupunto,Blocks 4 of choice .
You will also learn how to machine and hand quilt.
This quilt is made over 4 months .
Class fees are £25 week includes a block a class a week , morning tea , and extra supplies including embroidery thread .

£120 inclusive of use of equipment.

Oh dear a few students have bought poly cotton for their patchwork fabric .
Yes it’s slippy and awful for EPP
Please look at fabric that is only Cotton . Tilda is fantastic .
And so many other fabrics just sit with pen and paper when sourcing on line as there’s a lot of different prices for the same fabric.

Once arrived spray starch after washing .
Then you’re ready for any style of blocks and it will be perfect on completion.
Don’t forget small pattered fabric .

To use up the poly fabric use it for making sewing machine covers or line in for bags .
Iron on pellon will help to stabilise it .
