Halloween inspired sensory tray 🕷🎃

This morning in Cygnets we have been exploring the Halloween inspired tuff tray. In the tray we had coloured rice and coloured bat shaped pasta, as well as spiders, pumpkins, scoops and bowls. This was an adult led and supervised activity.

children used the scoops to scoop the rice into the bowls. We used different language throughout the activity naming the different objects we could find. One of the children also started to compare different sizes as she picked up the small pumpkin and said "baby one" then picked up the big pumpkin and said "big one!". We introduced words such as big and small.
