It is with mixed emotions that I write this status to inform you of my decision to cease my childminding business on Friday 23rd July 2021 after 11 years of operating.
Ben and I have spent many weeks weighing up the pros and cons of this decision, which has been extremely difficult to make, made even more so by the fact that I regard many of you as close friends. I realise that this decision may cause problems for some of you in the short term, but I hope everybody it affects will understand that I ultimately have to do what I believe is best for myself and my family in the long term. I will, of course, try my best to accommodate any specific requests in relation to this, and would urge any parents whom expect to suffer significant hardship/difficulties in the short term while other arrangements are made, to contact me directly.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing me to look after your children over the years, and for the friendships which both I and my own children have formed as a result. It has been a privilege to have been able to help so many children grow and develop over the years, and I have many fond memories to take forward with me to the next chapter of my life, as I hope your children do of their time with me. I wish you and your children all the very best for the future.
