Thank you to all the family members and local businesses that came along to support our Big Scottish Breakfast for the STV Children’s Appeal.
The day was a huge success!
We raised a whopping £400 that will be matched £1 for £1 by Kellogs raising our grand total to £800 🤩
Our staff and pupils worked their wee socks off to host our first whole-school charity event of the year, and we are very proud of them all. 😊
Money raised goes to help starving children in Scotland.
Thank you 🙏🏼

Our pupils enjoyed an Animal Magic workshop as part of their Social Studies ‘Wonderful World’ topic, learning about animal care, diets and habitats. Meeting the animals brought their learning to life, with opportunities to handle and feed them safely.

Pupils used their meta skills of curiosity, communication and focus by asking questions, sharing ideas and listening carefully to instructions.

A big thank you to Animal Magic for a wonderful hands-on experience! 🐾 🐍 🕷 🦎

We’re delighted that one of our pupils has signed up to join the Scottish Youth Parliament! 👏

Meta skills don’t stop at the school gates. This is a brilliant opportunity to build confidence, share ideas and help make a difference for young people across Scotland. 💜💚💙

Our S5–S6 pupils enjoyed a visit to Ysortit WestDunbartonshire in Clydebank, where they found out more about what youth workers do and how Y Sort It supports young people across West Dunbartonshire.

The visit sparked a great conversation about volunteering, and we’re excited to explore this and other opportunities for our pupils.

Thank you to Mark for making us feel so welcome and giving our pupils such an interesting insight into his work!

Course: People and Society.
