🚶‍♀️ Scottish Borders Walking Festival – Get Involved! 🌿

We are encouraging all our families to get involved in the Scottish Borders Walking Festival, taking place in Jedburgh from 4th–12th September! 🌳🥾

There are lots of fantastic walks and activities to choose from, ranging from shorter family-friendly walks around Jedburgh to longer adventures exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders. There are also social and community events taking place throughout the week.

🌟 HOUSE POINTS CHALLENGE! 🌟

We would love to see our pupils getting involved! Every child who attends a Walking Festival event will earn house points for their house. Simply take a photo of yourself enjoying the event and bring it in/share it with your teacher when you return to school.

Whether you complete a short local walk, take part in an organised event or enjoy one of the family activities, every step counts! 👣

Let’s get outdoors, explore our local community and see which house can collect the most Walking Festival House Points! 🏆🌿

Jedburgh's brilliant Rainbows, Brownies and Guides need your help.

They are looking for some fresh volunteers to help deliver their programmes right here in the town. They meet at Jedburgh Grammar Campus on Mondays (Guides) and Wednesdays (Rainbows / Brownies) from 6 til 7:15. No specific qualifacations are needed and it's a lot of fun.

📣 REMINDER – COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS IN JEDBURGH

Scottish Borders Council’s Community Conversations event is in Jedburgh Town Hall this Thursday, 27 August 6pm - 8pm.

Senior Council leaders, local representatives and officers will be there to hear directly from residents about our priorities and concerns for the Jedburgh area and the Borders as a whole.

It’s an important chance to discuss what Jedburgh needs and what we want to see in the town’s future.

The more people who attend, the stronger Jedburgh’s voice will be.
