Last week we had such an exciting morning meeting all kinds of amazing minibeasts — including a toad, a python and even a scorpion! 🐸🐍🦂
Guy from Bugs n Stuff shared so many fascinating facts, and we were brave enough to touch some of the creatures too. A truly unforgettable experience!

Maths magic in action! ✨
The Yr 1 children have been working on counting in 2s, 5s and 10s, using equipment to build groups, before moving on to repeated addition and multiplication. I’ve been genuinely amazed by their independence and understanding — such superstars!

Year 6 had a wonderful morning at Durham Cathedral as our children took part in the Leavers’ Service. They were honoured to meet the new Bishop, the Right Reverend Rick Simpson, who shared warm words of encouragement for their next steps. A beautiful moment of reflection, celebration, and community.

Reception had a swashbuckling time on Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️
Captain Raggybeard surprised us in the morning with pirate songs, stories and even a walk along the plank. In the afternoon, our families joined the fun with pirate‑themed activities and games making it a memorable day of fun and togetherness.🏴‍🦜⚓️🗺️🏝️🪙🪵
