*WE ARE HIRING*
We are looking to employ a cook at our nursery. You must have experience of working in a fast paced environment and must be able to cook for up to 50/60 children per day including dietary needs. The ability to plan menus and have knowledge of safer food better business would be advantageous as well as the new nutrition guidance which came into force September 25. We provide fresh homemade food and everything is cooked in house from scratch. This position will be 5 days per week 6 hours per day. Just a quick reminder, if you do not have a code for September and think you may qualify for the funded hours, you need to get this by the 31st August. Failure to do this will result in having to wait another term to claim.
If you already have a code it will automatically give you the 30 funded hours, just remember to keep it updated when you get your reminder. No need to apply for a new code.
Those of you who i have codes for i will be going through them to check their validity and i will remind you if they are about to run out/go into grace period.
Please email me with your new codes (those applying for the first time) and NI number to secure your place for September 25.

If you have sent me your code already you need not send it again, just make sure to update it once you get the email notification

Please remember you only have until 31st March to get your codes for the funded 15 & 30 hours. This is for first time claimants. The code you already have if you have claimed previously will only need to be updated. I will be checking codes next week and i will let you know if it needs to be updated.

*We are hiring*
Due to the expansion of the Government funded hours to 9+ month olds we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You should be ideally level 3 qualified with a relevant childcare qualification or level 2 with a willingness to further study to level 3. The hours will be 3 days per week all year round between the hours of 7.30am-5.30pm, although you will be asked to pick up extra shifts when the ratio demands this. The idea candidate should have experience with under 5's in a similar setting, ideally with under 2's. This position will mainly be in our baby room providing our under 2's with outstanding care and education, however, you could be seconded to other age groups if required or to give 1-1 support if a child needs it. You should be able to work alone or in a team in a fast paced environment. You should be able to provide a nurturing and serene environment when required during the day and be confident enough to speak to parents, giving feedback and receiving messages. You should have a good command of English and basic IT skills.

If you are not receiving any notifications from Tapestry that there is a message waiting for you, you need to go into your Tapestry settings and enable push notifications and then hopefully you will be alerted. Currently I think the alerts come as emails. If anyone has any problems just let us know

Just a little reminder that the nursery will close from 12.30pm 24th December and will reopen Thursday 2nd January 25 as normal for those who do hours all year round, for those who do term time only we will see you all back from Monday 6th January 25.

Could i remind everyone who is entitled to the 15/30 hours for the first time to please send me your 11 digit code and National Insurance number before Friday to ensure you receive what you are entitled to. If you have already given me a code that is great just make sure you have renewed it when the time comes.

If you miss this deadline the next funding will be April 25
