was first prescribed statins at 18 for FH. But I suffered a lot of side effects and stopped taking them.
In recent years I did a lot of research and I’ve managed to get my cholesterol down from 350+ to 190-240.
It wasn’t about stopping my body making it. It was finding out why my body was making so much.
My body was producing too much due to issues I had to correct. The result is my body now doesn’t need as much as it also removing it more effectively.
I’m not a medical professional this is purely my take on how I lowered mine and how I will continue to manage my health.

Diet, health and hormones.
I get it all the time in the comments.
You can’t increase testosterone with diet and supplements
But it’s so far from true
Over the past 10 years my testosterone has gone up from 600 in my 20s to 1000+ at nearly 40.
And I’ve done it with diet, lifestyle and supps.

Finasteride and hair loss
Most guys with hair loss never have their DHT measured. There is no correlation between hair loss and levels of DHT. So why does finasteride help up so 65% of users see some hair growth within 12 months? It’s also analgesic, it reduces inflammation, lowers cytokines etc.
