Ensuring a good night's sleep for your little ones is essential for their growth and development. Incorporating yoga into their bedtime routine can be a wonderful way to calm their minds and prepare them for a peaceful slumber. Here are three soothing yoga poses that can help children sleep better:
1๏ธโฃ Balasana (Child's Pose)
Benefits:
Relieves stress and anxiety.
Stretches the spine and shoulders.
Encourages deep, calming breaths.
How to Do It:
Kneel on the floor, big toes touching.
Sit back on your heels and extend your arms forward, forehead resting on the floor.
Breathe deeply, feeling a gentle stretch in your back.
2๏ธโฃ Viparita Karani (Legs Up the Wall Pose)
Benefits:
Calms the nervous system.
Reduces anxiety and stress.
Improves circulation and relieves tired legs.
How to Do It:
Sit close to a wall with your side against it.
Swing your legs up the wall as you lie down on your back.
Relax your arms by your sides or place your hands on your belly.

I'm Mandy Mistry, and I've always had a passion for creativity and working with children. For 15 incredible years, I had the privilege of being a primary school teacher, molding young minds and watching them bloom. ๐๐
