We teach fine art techniques using charcoal, watercolours, inks, pastels gouache and acrylics. All art materials and supplies are provided and included in the cost of the course

Thank you to everyone for such as amazing term this summer. We are so privileged to spend our Thursdays with such a special group of people who make every single one of our classes so enjoyable.

Our inspiration today came from the incredible American portrait artist, Kehinde Wiley.
Faces and skin tone are a challenging topic so we practised colour mixing first with our acrylics. Painting on patterned wallpaper was at times distracting and some students used varying thicknesses of paint to allow the background to shine through in certain areas giving absolutely fabulous results. Well done everyone 🧑‍🎨🖌️👏🏻🎨

We had a temporary home today in the very beautiful setting of nearby Kirtlington.
Students used watercolour paint to create these equally beautiful and peaceful scenes of mountains and remote cottages surrounded by splashes of warm heather.
