Our Level 6 Students are organising events in the academy as part of their qualification. The first event will be held on Monday 15th August from 5pm-7pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along to this one and see the students work and see what services they offer! They are ALWAYS looking for models so we would love you to come along enjoy some FREE treatments and maybe even join our model list.

The girls will be offering free conditioning and mini Olaplex treatments, blowdrys, braiding and styling on the night.

Save the date, pop in and see us. We would love to see you and I know the students would appreciate the support 💛

WELCOME TO OUR ACADEMY👏🏼
Our brand new training venue provides a safe and modern learning environment for students to come and carry out off the job assessments and training days. (Remember we can also come to your salon)
The space offers a salon like training room with space for theory work, office attached providing computer facilities for students to carry out research and tests, a boardroom for group theory learning an a separate break room for students to enjoy a break for lunch.

I am excited to Introduce our new Assessor and Training Director, Claire Mccrea. Owner and head stylist at Jungle Hair Room.
Claire has almost 20 years experience in the hairdressing industry and is also a qualified assessor.
As well as ongoing training in the salon with her team, Claire also travels to places all over the UK like London, Glasgow and Liverpool every year to keep her training up to date and as current as possible.
Claire has always had a huge passion for hairdressing and is now enjoying taking that passion further by educating and assessing. Using her own experience and knowledge to do this Claire is an exciting new addition to our Academy.

ALBA COVID-19 UPDATE

As per the email sent to students and salons last week, due to the coronavirus pandemic it is with great sadness that the training Academy will remain closed until we receive any further instructions.

We have tried extremely hard to ensure everyone has been contacted and encourage you to look out for any updates on this page. Please also keep in touch through the salon owner and student group chats.

We are heartbroken that all salons will also now be closed and the devastating effect this will have for all concerned. We will keep you informed of any help or support from Skills Development Scotland and SQA.

We thank you all for your support over the last few years and look forward to seeing you all flourish when the COVID-19 passes.

There are not enough apprentices joining our industry and I can only think of one reason why.....they are unaware of the amazing, diverse career opportunities. 💯❤

Feel it too??! OK so help!!! ......I am thrilled to be involved with 'Supporting Hairdressings Future'. National Careers week is 5th-10th March - WE AIM TO ATTEND AS MANY SCHOOLS & COLLEGES AS POSSIBLE!!!!
