To celebrate the International Ayr Show Festival of Flight, South Ayrshire Council is hosting an Aerospace Careers Event, proudly supported by DYW Ayrshire.

📅 Tuesday 8th & Wednesday 9th September
⏰ 5pm - 7pm
📍 Aviator Suite, Prestwick Airport

This event is open to S3-S6 pupils, parents, carers and educators and offers the chance to meet industry experts, learn about career pathways, and explore the skills and qualifications needed for a future in the sector.

Working on behalf of North and South Ayrshire Councils, Ayrshire Chamber's Education Team source work placements for pupils in S4-S6, giving young people valuable insight into the world of work while providing businesses with an extra pair of hands to support day-to-day tasks.

Placements can be:
✅ A couple of days
✅ A full week
✅ Flexible arrangements (such as one afternoon per week)

We're passionate about ensuring every young person has the opportunity to take part, but we can't do it without the support of Ayrshire employers.
