We'd like to wish all our friends and families a fantastic Summer holiday!! See you in the new session.

We also bid a fond farewell to Mrs Lewis, Mrs Kirkpatrick, Mrs Walton, Mrs Power and Miss Richardson! We wish them all well as they move on.

It's a final farewell for Primary 7.🥳🥳 We wish you a fabulous time as you move on to secondary. Don't forget us.

Primary 3/4 enjoyed a pizza party this afternoon to celebrate the end of the session. A big thank you to Dominoes Irvinefor providing the pizzas for FREE!!😁

BEACH PARTY!! We were so fortunate with the weather yesterday that the Early Years' beach party was a blast! Water fights, paddling pool, splashing fun and lots of memories.

Wow!! Primary 6 and Primary 7 organised znd ran a fabulous fun afternoon for all classes. All funds raised is going to refurb our library and they raised an amazing £673!!! Thank you everyone.🥰

Following on from the success of this weekends fun, Primary 6 and Primary 7 have organised an in-school fun day to help raise funds for the school library. All classes will have the opportunity to join in.
Please not this is NOT a dress down day.

What a day we've had!! We can't thank our PTA enough for organising such a fantastic free event for the children. These things couldn't happen without the support of parents, grandparents, families and friends of the school...we thank you all!🥰 The children had a blast.

Summer Fun Day starts in just over 2 hours!! Come on down to school at 12 to enjoy great activities and a bit of fun for free!! See you there!🥳🥳

P6, P6/7 and P7 enjoyed an end of year treat from their teachers this afternoon. The weather was great and they enjoyed games, hotdogs, icelollies and music out on the field.

Some of our children were chosen as finalists for the Irvine Clean Crew poster competition. We are super proud of them all. IG came third!!

We are so proud of all our children. Today we celebrated our Effort Prizes, Family John Muir awards and Writing awards.

Primary 5/6 used natural resources to create art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.

As part of their Forces topic Primary 6 performed magic! 🎩 They can move paper, water, salt and defy gravity using static electricity!!

Great leadership skills shown this afternoon. Primary 1 joined primary 5 for a reading session!

Fantastic!! Primary 2's hot air balloons are complete! Great job.

Primary 6/7 completed a design challenge in teams to build a 3D model of an American landmark. Great team work and creativity. They made Twin Towers, The White House, The Bellagio Hotel, The Golden Gate Bridge and The Chrysler building.

Primary 6/7 had a wonderful time this morning, giving the early years children a tour of the garden and welcoming them with their sunflowers for the competition. They told them all about the vegetables growing.
Look how high they reached!!

Primary 6 created model rockets and launched them using air pressure.

Don't forget it's the Fun Day this Saturday. All children and families are invited to come along for some summer fun between 12 and 2.00 pm.

Remember we're heading to the cinema tomorrow!! Your child should come to school dressed down and bring a snack and drink to munch during the movie.

Just a reminder that our carpark will be closed to cars on Tuesday; apart from taxis and blue badge holders. This is to allow for the cinema buses.

Primary 5 had a fantastic trip at Dundonald Castle today. They had a tour of the castle, made mosaics, had fun in the play park, looked at Roman pottery and even took part in dressing up .

Primary 6/7 are very proud of the work they have been doing in the garden. They have also been collecting and organising all the sunflowers for our whole school competition.

Primary 1 have been practising their spreading and cutting skills today whilst getting to eat yummy sandwiches.
They've certainly got the moves in the ESR!!

The boys from ESR Venus joined ESR Neptune today for some transition time. They enjoyed singing songs and had some sensory fun with bath bombs!

It was great to welcome our new Primary 1s and their parents in to enjoy a school lunch made by our fantastic catering team.

Primary 1 joined ESR Venus to make yummy jam sandwiches 🥪

The sun is out and do are the paints. Primary 5 have used the art technique of pointillism to create these bright paintings today.

Primary 5 have mastered the skills of sewing and created beautiful decorations.

Primary 3/4 had a brilliant final Family John Muir Award session this afternoon where they learnt how to identify types of bee and make our gardens more bee-friendly. 🪴
They then created water stations and snug houses for bees. 🐝 🌳🪵

ESR Neptune enjoyed listening to the story of Tallulah and her trip to the zoo. They worked on their listening and turn taking skills and really enjoyed the sensory boards.

Primary 1 and ESR Venus walked a mile today! They even ran the last lap and were very proud when they finished! 🏃🏼

Primary 1/2 have really enjoyed working with the PLA developing their Maths and Numeracy skills.

Primary 1/2 children each completed their first mile of the ‘Walk to the Commonwealth’ challenge.

ESR Neptune finished their encanto topic today by hosting a fiesta! They dressed up, listened to Spanish music and made nachos.

They even hit the lofty heights of the slide!!😳😳

Whilst at Dumfries House on their school trip, Primary 6/7 had great fun exploring the play park and surrounding woodland.

Primary 6/7 visited Dumfries House this week as part of their ongoing work in developing a sustainable environment in school. They took part in lots of different activities. It was great fun!

It was our teddies bears picnic for the new Primary ones this week! Our new ESR Venus children had a great time visiting class again. We are really looking forward to them starting in August.

Primary 5/6 have been learning all about angles this week! They used chalk to draw angles in the playground and even used their own bodies to create angles!

Primary 5 loved teaching the Primary ones new games this morning before having a fun competition!

Primary 3/4 had lots of fun designing and writing about their own eco-warrior superheroes yesterday. They also created a wanted poster for their arch nemesis! 🦹♀️💰
