I am a qualified, experienced English teacher offering 1:1 after-school tutoring for AQA English Language and AQA English Literature.

I offer tutoring face to face or via Microsoft Teams.

Since returning to school we’ve spoken to lots of parents and students who are concerned about how school closures and the pandemic have affected their confidence and preparations.

Just one hour a week of the bespoke, one to one tutoring we offer will prove invaluable to your child. We aim to walk students through their exams offering guidance and support based on their individual needs and strengths.

So far we have had great success at helping our students achieve above their school’s target grade. The sessions are aimed at anyone working towards GCSE English Language and Literature, whether that be in Year 9, 10 or 11.

Current availability:

Monday 5-6pm, 6-7pm.
Tuesday 5-6pm, 6-7pm.
Thursday 5-6pm, 6-7pm.

Sessions are a minimum one hour but we can do longer.

Prices are £25 per hour.

Due to the recent pandemic many students will be feeling less confident in their GCSE preparation. Current students have had 2 years of their learning impacted by closures, remote lessons and stress.

I am offering a discounted price for GCSE Exam preparation lessons. These will be extremely beneficial for Year 10 and Year 11 students but may also be useful for gifted Year 9 students to get a head start on their GCSE preparation.
