Art club had a lovely end to the summer term getting creative with water colours on the field.

The children in Unit 3 had an exhibition of their homework where they became Tourist Advisors and had to sell their dream holiday to Unit 3 parents who voted for the best holiday.

The Year 6’s Post Sats maths project was to design and build their own city.

The children in EYFS have been busy creating a World Cup LEGO stadium and designing their own football tops!

On Tuesday, the children in unit 3 joined with other KS2 children across England to take part in a mass event to recognise the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This included three preparation lessons where the children learnt about the UNCRC and developed their dance skills and use of technical vocabulary. The event lasted two and a half hours and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

Today EYFS took part in a practical team building activity, they had to work together to rescue a toy from crocodile infested waters!

Yesterday some children from Unit 2 went to Northgate High school to take part in Quad kids. All the children participated in a 600m run, 50m sprint, vortex howler throw and long jump.

Year 2 had their final reading lesson. We finished our class book, Fantastic Mr Fox, and celebrated by creating some fantastic paper plate foxes inspired by the story.
