Ipswich Baby Sensory Award winning Baby Development classes in Ipswich, Trimley st mary and Kesgrave. For babies 0-13 months.

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth. Our baby classes include baby activities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is an parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme. Each class includes seven different activities each week and a discovery play time, during which baby can enjoy our sensory play area whilst parents have the opportunity to meet. You will be delighted when you see your baby use skills that have been learned in our newborn to 6 month baby classes for the first time. We also provide tailor made 1st Birthday Parties - a magical way to celebrate that special birthday milestone.

Did you know smell is one of the most powerful senses for your baby’s development?

Every season brings its own scents to explore and science shows there’s so much more to smell than we might think!

Regularly stimulating this sense can help boost communication, motivation, alertness, and attention at every stage of life. The smells you introduce to your little one now could leave a lasting impression with happy sensory experiences potentially becoming fond memories for years to come.

Hello everyone,

I have some very exciting news to share with you about the future of Baby Sensory!

As many of you will know, I have been looking for the right person to take over my lovely Baby Sensory business, and I am absolutely delighted to tell you that we have found someone absolutely fantastic! 💛

Even better, she is a local mummy who already knows and loves Baby Sensory, having attended our wonderful classes herself. She completely understands just how special Baby Sensory is, and I know the business and all of our lovely families are going to be in wonderful hands.

She is currently very busy behind the scenes completing all of her Baby Sensory training and getting ready for her exciting new adventure. You’ll also get the chance to meet her in class very soon!

She already has lots of exciting plans for Baby Sensory and will be launching a brand-new term in January. We’ll be sharing lots more over the coming weeks, including introducing her properly and revealing the January dates, venues and timetable once she has progressed further through her training.

But before then… we still have lots of fun to come! 🎃❄️🎄

Our upcoming Winter Spectacular mini term will be my final Baby Sensory term, with our very special Christmas parties.

The mini term will run from Monday 23rd November to Friday 18th December and bookings will open on Monday 12th October at 9.30am

As one of our existing baby sensory families, you will get a head start 💛

Existing customers will be able to book from approximately 9.30am, before bookings open more widely to new customers at 11am on Monday 12th October.

So if you have a particular day or class time that you’d really like, make sure you grab your space before bookings open to everyone else.

We also still have a few spaces remaining for our upcoming Pumpkin Parties, so if you haven’t booked yours yet, now is the time!

Although our Winter Spectacular Term will be my final classes, I really don’t want this to feel like a sad goodbye. I’m genuinely so excited about what is coming next for Baby Sensory and couldn’t be happier that we have found someone so lovely to continue everything we have built.

There’s lots to look forward to — a fabulous Winter Spectacular, our magical Christmas parties and then a whole new Baby Sensory chapter beginning in January. ✨

⭐️Tickets are £18.00 for two adults and one baby, this includes Christmas snacks and a Christmas present for every baby for a one hour class.

Why is colour so prominent in our Baby Sensory classes?

A baby’s sight develops rapidly in the first year of their life and so giving them plenty of visual stimulation is really important.

Their ability to see colour is limited at first however, studies show that babies can see colours and different shades, providing there is enough contrast in hue and brightness.

We therefore incorporate lots of colourful props and toys into our Baby Sensory classes to support the development of your baby’s sense of sight!

I have had lots of questions about the Winter Term so here are all of the details you need to know.

I will be running a 4 week winter wonderland spectacular with the following themes

❄️ The night before Christmas
❄️ Winter Wonderland
❄️ Christmas light festival
❄️ Sparkle and Shine

The term will start week commencing Monday 23rd November for a fun festive, jam packed 4 weeks!

Spaces for the Winter term will be available to book Monday 12th October at 9.30am
