For the final workshop today in Christchurch Park Arts La’Olam is proud to introduce Eon DaSousa to lead the Capoeira Workshop at 6pm

Capoeira Workshop in the Workshop Tent on Christchurch Msmsion Lawn at Global Rhythm & Ipswich Jazz Festival

Capoeira is a slow motion fight disguised as a dance, a game of wits and agility. Combining unusual movements imitating fight styles of animals, alligators, monkeys and snakes, the accompanying song with afro-brazilian percussion tells the story of capoeira.

This will be a fun introduction for complete beginners.
