We hope you have all enjoyed your summer break, we’re so excited to announce that our new build is finally ready and we can’t wait to welcome our current and new children into the new setting next week. We’ve now changed our name so we’re no longer known as Sunbeam Pre-school our new name is “Early Years at Whitehouse” so please head over to our new page Early Years at Whitehouse and give us a like and follow so that you’re all up to date on any news and information, so keep your eyes peeled!

🥳 END OF TERM PARTIES 🥳

We will be holding two parties to celebrate all of our achievements as the term comes to an end and wishing the children going to school a massive good luck!

Please take a look at the poster on the main nursery doors to see when your child will be having the party! It would be hugely appreciated if you could also pop your name against a food item on the list which your child could bring to share amongst their friends! 🍽

🍦 ICE CREAM TUFF TRAY 🍦

Fitting with our holidays topic book, the children have this tuff tray all set up and ready for them tomorrow!

☀️ The weather wasn’t quite as sunny as the image below but we still had a lovely day for our trip to Frinton today! ☀️

It was so lovely to see so many of the children enjoying the beach and sea with their grown ups! 🌊 🏖

We hope that all of those that came, both children and adults, had an enjoyable time and we cannot wait to get planning our next trip! 📅

🦋 WE HAVE BUTTERFLIES! 🦋

The children have watched the caterpillars grow, make themselves into cocoons and now can see them as beautiful butterflies! 🐛

🍇🍈 🍉 The Hungry Caterpillar eats lots of delicious food in the story! 🍉🍈🍇

We will be talking about healthy eating with the children and using this tuff tray to group the different foods! 😋

🐛 🦋 We are taking a weeks break from Under the Sea to look at The Hungry Caterpillar story as we have some very special guests at nursery! 🦋🐛

Over the next week we will be watching our caterpillar friends grow into beautiful butterflies! 🦋
