Ipswich Guitar School

One of the things we’ve always tried to do at Ipswich Guitar School is create an environment where students genuinely enjoy spending time.

Great teachers.Great community.Great opportunities to perform.

And now… air conditioning. 😎❄️
Just in time for this week’s heatwave.

Whether you’re coming in for a lesson, workshop or drums, you’ll be learning in comfort while the summer does its thing outside.

Small improvement. Big difference.

🎸 See you in the cool of the school

🎸 Tickets are now on sale! 🎸

I know many of you will be keen to grab tickets for yourselves, family and friends.

You’re welcome to order as many tickets as you like. Tables of 10 and 12 are available, so if you'd like to have a table just for your group, simply book that number of tickets and I’ll make sure you’re seated together.

So I’m pleased to say that tickets are now available for our biggest event yet…

Our Ipswich Guitar School 10th Anniversary Student Concert is happening on 31 May — and it’s going to be a special one.

Students of all ages will be taking to the stage, backed by a professional live band, performing everything from classics to modern favourites.

It’s always one of the highlights of the year, and this time we’re celebrating 10 years of Ipswich Guitar School.

Henry in the school filming his GCSE music assignment.

He chose to perform “Paranoid Android” by Radiohead… not exactly the easiest song to take on! But he absolutely went for it.

Really cool to see students pushing themselves with music they genuinely love. That’s where the real progress happens.

✅ Worked with footballers, movie stars, and some seriously inspiring humans
✅ Shared stages and projects with Gibson, BBC, PMC, Raymond Weil, and more
✅ Played festivals, halls, rooftops, even a few boats 🚢
✅ Created partnerships with Decoy Studios, local festivals, and hosted events across Suffolk
✅ Welcomed Patrons who believe in what we do
✅ Grew from one tiny room… to now having two full-blown locations
✅ Built a true community of players, teachers, parents, and friends

From late-night jams to standing ovations...
From first chords to world-class performances...
