All learners take note:
How you book your driving test is changing!
You will no longer be able to have your Instructor, or a 3rd party company book for you. YOU will be the only one who can book and manage it. However, always consult and take advice from your Instructor BEFORE booking, to discuss if you will be at test standard ready for the big day!

Many people ask why should I reverse into a supermarket parking space.
This is one of the reverse manoeuvres you may be asked to do on your driving test. Practice with your driving instructor until you feel confident!

Something all passengers should think about. These are x-rays of passengers who have unfortunately been involved in car accidents. Sitting cross legged or with feet up on the dashboard your chances of avoiding serious injuries are basically zero!

I advise all drivers to fit a dashcam in their car. The visual evidence they provide, if you are unfortunately involved in an accident or dispute with another driver, can solve many problems (and expense!). I advise getting one for both the front and rear of your car.

Most country roads are National speed limit (which is crazy!), however this doesn’t mean you can safely drive at that speed! Always drive at the speed which is safe for that road, weather conditions, vision, etc. This applies to all roads. Drive safe. Keep alive!

“Only a fool breaks the 3 second rule”
Keep at least a 2 second gap between you, and the vehicle ahead. On wet roads the gap should be doubled, and on ice substantially further.
Choose a stationary object, such as a sign or a tree, then as the vehicle in front goes past that, count ‘one thousand and one, one thousand and two’. If your vehicle passes that object before you have finished counting, you need to increase the gap.
