Wonderful news for Gheorghe and our community! ❤️

Gheorghe came to REG feeling worried about his situation and unsure of what steps to take. We listened, explained the process and supported him along the way.

Today, we are delighted to celebrate with him: Gheorghe has obtained his residency! 🎉

For Gheorghe, this means relief and the confidence to look ahead. For us, it is another reminder of why supporting our community matters.

O istorie ignorată nu trebuie să devină o istorie uitată.

Astăzi, echipa REG Community Support Trust a fost prezentă la Consulatul General al României la Londra pentru a cinsti memoria romilor persecutați și uciși în timpul Holocaustului.

Mulțumim doamnei Alina Lepădatu, domnului Mihai Nica, Roma Support Group și Consulatului pentru invitație și pentru această comemorare profundă.

Samudaripen înseamnă memorie, adevăr și responsabilitatea de a spune: nu vom uita! 🕯️

Astăzi, alături de echipa REG Community Support Trust, am avut onoarea de a participa la evenimentul „Samudaripen Comemorarea Genocidului Romilor organizat de Alina Lepădatu și Mihai Nica de la Roma Support Group și desfășurat la Consulatul General al României la Londra.

Am adus un omagiu miilor de bărbați, femei și copii romi persecutați și uciși în timpul Holocaustului. Suferința lor a fost prea mult timp ignorată, însă istoria lor trebuie cunoscută și transmisă generațiilor viitoare.

Vă mulțumim sincer pentru invitație și pentru organizarea acestui eveniment atât de important. Nu uităm. Onorăm. Dăm glas istoriei. 🕯️

Masa rotundă „Samudaripen – Roma Genocide Remembrance Day”

La dezbateri vor participa, printre alții:
• Prof. Marius Turda, profesor în cadrul Departamentului de Istorie, Filosofie și Religie, Oxford Brookes University;
• Mihai Bica, coordonator politici publice și campanii în cadrul Roma Support Group;
• Marija Hamza, masterandă în Studii despre Holocaust la Royal Holloway.

When Alex came to us, he was extremely worried, frustrated and unsure where to turn. 😟 Our team listened, reassured him and helped him apply for temporary status under the EU Settlement Scheme. 📝✅🇬🇧

❤️ Another positive result for our community!

Mrs. Fanica came to us very stressed and worried, asking for our help with her residency application. We supported her throughout the process and did everything we could to assist her.

Today, we are happy to share the good news: Mrs. Fanica has received approval for temporary residence for 6 months! 🙏

This is why we are here at REG Association: to support vulnerable people, to offer guidance and practical help, and to stand by our community when people need us most.

Helping people and making a real difference in their lives is what we are here for. ❤️

💙 A day to remember! 🎉

On 18 July 2026, we proudly celebrated an important milestone for REG Community Support Trust. It was wonderful to bring together people from different backgrounds, community partners, and local leaders to celebrate unity, inclusion, and community spirit. 🤝🌍

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported us. Together, we are building a stronger, kinder, and more connected community across Ipswich and Suffolk. 💙✨
