​What an incredible moment for Spanish football! La Roja has shown us once again that with teamwork, passion, and talent, nothing is impossible. Watching them win and celebrate on the pitch is an absolute inspiration.
​For all of us learning Spanish, this is the perfect time to soak up that excitement and pick up some essential football vocabulary along the way! 🤓🏆
​Here are a few key words and phrases you’ll be hearing all over Spain right now:
​La selección / La Roja: The affectionate nicknames for our national team.
​¡Campeones!: Champions! (Don't forget the upside-down exclamation mark at the start: ¡)
​El partidazo: An awesome or thrilling match! (Adding -azo to partido makes it big).
​Dar el subidón: That rush of total excitement and adrenaline when the winning goal is scored.
​¡A por ellos!: The ultimate Spanish chant to cheer the team on ("Go get 'em!").

What a magical and unforgettable afternoon! 🇪🇸❤️

My heart is still full of joy, and I can't stop smiling, thinking about our wonderful End of Year Garden Party! It was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible year together.

I want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you—my dear students and your wonderful families. Your constant effort to learn Spanish every week, your positive energy, and your joy in sharing these beautiful moments are the greatest gifts a teacher could ask for. We have truly built a unique and warm community!

We stuffed ourselves with traditional paellas (I really hope you enjoyed them! 🥘), enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon, and laughed so hard during our games. From your steady hands in the waiters' challenge, to your clever teamwork hunting for hidden treasures, and that spectacular moment singing at the top of our lungs under the porch for our "Musical Furore"—you are all true artists! 🎶🏃‍♀️

It has been an absolute honour to be your teacher this year. Now it’s time for you to get some well-deserved rest and enjoy a spectacular summer! You have more than earned it! ☀️🏖️
