Last week we celebrated the private view of our Arts Degree Show 2026 🎨

The exhibition showcases the creativity, originality and talent of our final-year Art and Design students, bringing together work from across our creative courses.

The exhibition is now open to the public in the Arts Building on the University of Suffolk campus until Friday 26 June.

We welcome everyone to come and experience the incredible work produced by our students before they graduate.

What lasting change should City of Culture bring to Ipswich? 💛

Join us on Tuesday 7 July for our next Spotlight Suffolk event, where we’ll explore how the Ipswich City of Culture 2029 bid could help shape the future of our town.

Chaired by Professor Jenny Higham, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Suffolk, our panel brings together voices from across culture, heritage and the community: Amy Vaughan, Kath Cockshaw, Marcus Harris-Noble and Dr Amanda Hodgkinson.

Expect an open conversation around how culture can create opportunities for young people, support wellbeing and drive lasting change across Ipswich.

Thanks to a generous donation from Debach, our first-year BSc (Hons) Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation Science students had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at some top London museums.

As part of the course’s Diversity of Life module, the group visited the Angela Marmont Centre at the Natural History Museum, the Linnean Society collections and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.

We’re grateful to Debach for their funding which plays a vital role in ensuring our students can access enriching educational experiences that have the potential to shape their studies and future careers

Congratulations to our University of Suffolk Dragons who took to the water on Saturday for the Brave Futures Dragon Boat Race! 🐉

Despite the wet weather, the team showed fantastic spirit and teamwork while raising an incredible £1,312 (and counting) for Brave Futures, exceeding their fundraising target. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, cheered from the sidelines and supported the team throughout the event. Your generosity will help Brave Futures continue their vital work supporting children and young people across Suffolk.

It was a pleasure to welcome guests to our Institute for Social Justice and Crime stakeholder event today.

Academics from within the Institute were able to share some of the projects they have been working on, as well as make new connections with organisations in the community to foster collaborative opportunities.

We were thrilled to spotlight our visiting fellows and professors at the event who provide incredible support to the ISJC.
