📚✨ We were delighted to welcome author Lottie Saahko to Northgate today!

Lottie, author of the brand-new book Lumi and the Wolf, spoke to the whole of Year 7 about what inspired her to become a writer, including her time spent in Finland. 🇫🇮🐺

Our students then had the chance to ask Lottie their questions before rounding off the visit with a special book-signing session in the library. 📖✍️

A huge thank you to Lottie for visiting us and sharing her love of storytelling with our students! 💙

As part of Northgate’s commitment to Deaf Awareness and inclusion, we are beginning to build our very own library of British Sign Language (BSL) signs for our staff and students to use.

We’re starting things off with our first sign of September! Each week, we’ll share a new BSL sign on our social media channels and around our school site.

Keep an eye out for our BSL Sign of the Week! 👀💙
