Opening of the second year students 'Open Season' exhibition at Ipswich Art School Gallery on Friday. Brilliantly curated - a must see show - on until the 16 July. Go see if you can...
So it's all over for another year. This years final year students have completed their degree show and marks have been awarded. Stunning work produced with a particularly exceptional year group. Beautiful catalogue produced with website at ctrl-art-del.co.uk

Scarred Hearts - Current BA Fine Art Exhibition in UCS Waterfront Gallery...Looking great. Well done all concerned to do this with such short notice. Great achievement working with UCS Science Department and the Somerville Foundation.

Take a look at this video of the Parasol art project that a group of our BA and MA students were commissioned to do as part of Appel d'Air Art Festival in Arras, France.We had over 100 people coming for tea and biscuits at our Ch'tea Time event in the Place d'Ipswich.

Today we went to two fantastic art museums near Lille. Lille Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and Art Brut (LaM) http://www.musee-lam.fr had a Modigliani retrospective and some incredible Art Brut/Outsider Art. As well as the ultra modern Le Fresnoy with a great show which is definitely worth a visit - and it even has a studio programme that is worth checking out once you've finished your MA and BA! http://www.lefresnoy.net

We visited Louvre Lens near Arras. Amazing glass, polished steel and concrete floor. Amazing art and artefacts from pre-Egyptian to Picasso.
