What an absolutely incredible day!

Our Year 10 Health & Social Care students had an unforgettable, hands-on experience at our school Medical Day towards the end of last term.

A massive thank you to the amazing teams from ESNEFT and the East of England Ambulance Service for inspiring our students. From mastering CPR and managing emergency trauma to trying out venepuncture, our future healthcare heroes blew us away with their professionalism and skill!

GCSE results are available to collect on Thursday 20th August, 9:30–11:30am.

If your child cannot collect them in person, a nominated adult may do so. They must bring a photo ID and a letter signed by the student giving permission, which the school will keep for evidence.

🎨 Emoji Overhaul! 🎨

During the Art Hinterland days at the end of last term our Year 8 students took on the challenge of designing their very own custom emojis and bringing them to life through limited-edition reduction prints. The creativity was off the charts!

GROWING INCLUSION WITH THE SUNFLOWER

🎶 What a day!

Our Orchestra Day and Summer Concert took it outside for the first time ever! 🌳 From the full Orchestra and Choir to beautiful solos, our students hit every note perfectly—even in the wind! 💨

It was a wonderful celebration and a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Scarce after 7 amazing years as Director of Music. 🎻✨

🎲 Students spent the day designing and building their own custom board games—complete with boards, counters, cards, and rulebooks. The creativity and teamwork on display were incredible, with some even crafting their own boxes to take home.

💼 YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE WEEK 🛠️ This week, our Year 10 students swapped the classroom for the workplace!

From helping out in local primary schools to getting hands-on at joinery businesses, they’ve been out in the community getting a real taste of their dream careers. We are incredibly proud of the maturity, enthusiasm, and hard work they’ve shown this week.

You’ve been fantastic ambassadors for our school, Year 10! We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next week and hear all about your adventures. 👏✨
