🌍 Languages at One are celebrating an incredible year of success! 🎉

Congratulations to Rodrigo Pereira, Victoria Velkova and Ellie Waldock, who won the Spanish Prize at Languages Live 2026 with their entertaining comedy sketch on football.

A huge well done also to Niamh Butcher, Tanzi Cobb, Hazel Hawkes-Wright, Jared Reeve, Mason Wills and Eddie Allway, whose original French song 'Je t’aime' won their age category in the Institut français Pop Video Competition regional finals and will now go on to national recognition.

Further success came for Isla Thurlow, who was Highly Commended in the Oxford University MFL Flash Fiction Competition, and Tanzi Cobb, who was also Commended in the Queen’s College Oxford Anthea Bell Competition for Young Translators.

These fantastic achievements highlight the creativity, commitment and linguistic talent of our students. Congratulations to everyone involved! 👏✨
