We've been absolutely blown away by the Prep School’s performance of Mary Poppins this week! The dedication, energy, and talent that the children have brought to the stage have been nothing short of magical. Their hard work truly paid off—what a fantastic and uplifting show!

Yesterday, the Prep School embarked on an exciting adventure to solve The Mystery of the Bullen Cup. The day was packed with engaging, cross-curricular activities that offered a fantastic hands-on learning experience. As pupils tackled a variety of challenges, they collected vital clues to help them unravel the mystery.

Congratulations to Emily and Poppy on being awarded academic scholarships to Oundle School — Such outstanding achievements and a testament to their hard work and dedication!

On Friday, OBH pupils and 30 enthusiastic parents tackled the Mud Run with courage, teamwork, and determination.

The event embodied the OBH values of respect, leadership, and community, as participants supported one another through every muddy challenge. More than just a physical test, the run fostered resilience, friendship, and unity. Congratulations to all for making it a memorable and inspiring day!

Year 1 had an incredible Time Travel Immersive Day, diving into their Topic learning with enthusiasm! They enjoyed crafting Roman shields and creating beautiful paper mosaics, showing off their creativity and excitement. It was truly a historic day!

The children have been working hard on their upcoming production of Mary Poppins, and their energy, talent, and passion are truly shining. We can’t wait to bring this magical show to life next week—it’s going to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

What an incredible Saturday we had hosting the 45th East Anglian Prep Schools’ Cross Country Championships!

In glorious sunshine, we were delighted to welcome over 500 spectators who came to support the 270 runners competing from 13 schools.

On Tuesday evening, Phillip Turner, a former pupil and founder of the Chestnut Crafted Hospitality Group, delivered an inspiring World of Work talk to the boarders, sharing insights into the hospitality industry and his journey to becoming an entrepreneur. A huge thank you to Phillip for taking the time to inspire and engage with our students!

From spotting circles to measuring circumferences and optimizing shapes, OBH students celebrated the International Day of Maths with all things round. They explored pizza values, created a stunning Pi skyline, and maximized cylinder dimensions. The Pi song was a hit, and Pi-shaped biscuits, the perfect treat to fuel their curiosity!

The children had a fantastic time thinking up imaginative ways to celebrate World Book Day on Monday, bringing stories to life with creativity and enthusiasm.

We postponed the celebrations due to Year 7 & 8 exams, so the whole school could enjoy the day together—and it was definitely worth the wait!

Yesterday evening, a group of eager Year 7 and 8 students embarked on an exciting trip to the Institute of Astronomy Cambridge at the University of Cambridge. The visit promised an evening of learning, discovery, and inspiration—and it certainly delivered.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Matt Bothwell and the team at the Institute of Astronomy for their time, expertise, and enthusiasm in making the experience truly memorable, leaving students excited to learn more about the universe.

Friday's Masquerade Ball was absolutely enchanting! It was heartwarming to see the children so excited to take part in such a glamorous, grown-up event. They truly embraced the spirit of the evening. A night to remember for all!
