IODS First Stage

A great night of rehearsals recapping everything we have learnt for the show so far. We hope everyone has a good February half term!!

We had a lovely fun drama games session tonight for the last one of the term! Would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a Happy New year! 🎄🎅🎊 and look forward to seeing everyone in January to start getting ready for the show!! 🥳🎭

Group 2 did a bit of Christmas singing and learnt the words to 'do they know it Christmas' by band aid. We even had some try for solos and duets

In the first part of tonight's singing workshop both group 1 and 2 wrote some new lyrics to the song 'The 12 days of Christmas' we definitely had some very unique lyrics

Group 2 choreographed their own dances tonight to songs from hairspray, matilda, six, Annie and disney. They split into groups and then picked their songs from a selection of musicals

For the first part of tonight's dance workshop, both groups learned a dance to 'consider yourself' from Oliver! They all did very well!! 🎭🎵

Another amazing dance workshop tonight which include choreography from both group 1 and group 2: Grease, we go together

Another great dance workshop completed, this time to 'Come Alive' from the greatest showman! Our older ones also got another chance to shows us their choreographing skills to a part of the song

Tonight's workshop was singing, both groups did really well, we even had some willing to give it ago for a solo and duet.

First dance workshop of the term completed!! We all learnt a dance to "friend like me" from Aladdin and then group 2 were able to get into groups and choreography there own bits to the song

Thank you to everyone who came to our first session of the term on Monday. It was lovely to see some old faces and also love to see some new faces as well.
